We have been working with UNDP Rwanda to help them enhance the office effectiveness and business process transparency since 2007.It all started when we got small assignment to help the country office centralized document management and make it easy for the country office to better manage shared resources like boardrooms, vehicles etcWe studied the client requirements and came up with a wireframe for the intranet prototype. We kept communicating with the client till almost the whole intranet application was completedNext step was to travel to Rwanda. To increase user adoption of the new intranet, we integrated the logins to the mail server and then integrated all the shared folders on the intranet application to make them viewable.Further we automated the following business processesPayment process: This was to streamline payment of suppliers-tracking approvals of items delivered or work done subject to procurement rules, notification to finance department to approve payments and finally making the payment and closing the process. It became possible to track jobs and payments by any staff at the country officeE-registry: The e registry department is in charge of all incoming and outgoing correspondence at the country office. We automated the process of registering and tracking all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
